How to reload the firmware/software of a smartphone using sp flash tool
Today Im got give you the correct and clear instructions on how to reload the android mobile os firmware to all mtk devices using the smart phone flash tool ( sp tool). These instructions will only work for devices with mtk CPU. You will need to reload the firmware when the phone has bricked or you want to install a customized ROM or updated ROM for your device.
To complete these instructions make sure you have the following tools, you must have a computer which you are going to use to download the ROM from www.saroms.co.za and extract it using the winrar . this website has all the Roms for mtk and spreadtrum devices. You will also have to download the sp flash tool here And extract it on your computer.
You will also have to download the vcom driver here and install it following the instruction given there, these driver will help your computer to detect you device when you connect it using the usb cable. Please charge your phone to 30%, if the condition of the phone does not allow the battery to charge, you must use another device to charge the battery or use the universal battery charger.
Now that you have downloaded the ROM, the sp tool an the vcom driver and installed them, open the extracted sp tool folder and double click the green file named " flash". Wait for few seconds for the sp tool to run. Click the button written " scatter loading" , now navigate to the extracted ROM and select the only file that appears. The sp tool will load the ROM and now it is ready to flash your device. Make sure you uncheck preloaded from the list. Now click download then after you connect your device to your computer using a USB cable. Make sure you are using a quality USB cable.
The computer will detect the device and flash the new firmware in few minutes. First you will see a red bar loading followed by a yellow bar. If your phone is not detected, it means you did not install the drivers correctly. Go back to the drivers installation drivers and follow carefully the given instructions. Once it is done flashing your phone, it will give you a big green tick?. Disconnect your device and turn it on. Enjoy your device.
