How to Manage iPhone iPod with CopyTrans Manager 8 Steps

There are certain reasons as to why you would prefer not to use iTunes to manage your iDevice. One of the better iTunes alternatives out there is a small program called CopyTrans Manager. This free tool will allow you to add/remove/edit audio and video tracks and playlists on your iPod or iPhone. It also has many other features such as a media player, tag and playlist rating editor, etc.
STEPS



ADD TRACKS. You can add tracks to your iPod/iPhone via CopyTrans Manager in two ways: to add Tracks. Adding tracks by Dragging and dropping (go to step 2) or Adding tracks by Using the Add button (go to step 3)



DRAG AND DROP TO ADD TRACKS. Simply open the folder with the song or video tracks that you would like to add to your iPhone or iPod. Then drag and drop the selected tracks directly into the main CopyTrans Manager window.



ADD TRACKS FROM WITHIN THE PROGRAM. When in the main CopyTrans window, click on the Add button as indicated by the image. You will then need to locate the tracks you would want to add to your iDevice through the newly opened window.



REMOVE TRACKS FROM IPHONE. You can easily delete any song or video track from your iDevice by selecting one or more tracks and clicking on the Delete button as indicated on the image.



CREATE IPHONE/IPOD PLAYLISTS. You can easily create playlists on your device. Simply go to the left column from the main CopyTrans Manager window and click on the "+" button. Alternatively, selecting any playlist and clicking on the "-" button will delete that playlist. To add tracks to your new playlist, click on the Add tracks button as indicated on the image above.



TRACK TAGS AND ARTWORK. With CopyTrans Manager you are able to manually change the tag information of any track, to add lyrics, or to search for and add artwork to your songs. Just right click on a track and select "Edit" You can also click on the TagEditor button as indicated by the screenshot above..



APPLY CHANGES. When you finish adding/removing/editing tracks on your iPod or iPhone, click on the Update button in order to apply all the changes you have made.



PLAY YOUR IPHONE TRACKS. CopyTrans Manager has an integrated media player which allows you to listen to your iPod songs and view your iPhone videos. I find the player function very practical as it is uncomplicated and easy to use.
